For a team that has had a multitude of injuries as of late on offense, the New York Giants now have promising news regarding wide receiver Kenny Golladay.

The fifth-year wideout came away from the Giants’ recent road loss to the Miami Dolphins with a minor injury scare. He was initially ruled as questionable during the contest after suffering a rib injury in the first half. However, he returned to the game in the third quarter and later confirmed following the game that the x-rays received on his ribs came back as negative.

The Giants are still taking a conservative route regarding Golladay’s rib injury. He did not feature in practice on Wednesday ahead of the team’s upcoming Week 14 road clash with the Los Angeles Chargers. This came after Giants head coach Joe Judge mentioned that Golladay would be accompanied by the team’s trainers over the day.

As the Giants listed on their official injury report, Golladay made his return to practice on Thursday, as he was limited throughout the session. Wide receivers Kadarius Toney (oblique) and Sterling Shepard (quad) each were also limited as well due to their respective injuries.

The injury bug has hit the Giants offense at this late stage in the campaign, but at the least, they could see Golladay feature against the Chargers this week. They are currently aiming to avoid their third separate losing streak of the season.
