Everyone wants to see Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant do the dunk contest. Now, he has made his demand before he considers doing it.

ONE BILLION LIKES.

ESPN recently posted a video of Morant where they asked what it would take him to join the annual NBA All-Star Weekend contest. The Grizzlies superstar, however, is not satisfied with just a million or 5 million likes.

Ja Morant has constantly refused to join the dunk contest. A lot of people has begged him to do it even before the 2022 atrocity of the slam dunk competition, but to no avail. Even when Reggie Miller desperately pleaded him to save the competition, he didn't provide any real answer.

Unfortunately, reaching a billion likes might be difficult–too difficult in fact. On Twitter, the announcement about the death of Chadwick Boseman has the most likes with 7.4 million. On Instagram, the highest one reached 55.7 million likes. Even if people include Facebook as another platform to reach the like count, it might be too hard to reach it–or even get close to it for that matter.

In fact, reaching the 1 billion request might be an even more impressive feat for humanity than seeing Morant do the dunk contest.

Early in the season, Morant did say that he would consider doing the dunk contest for a million dollars. Maybe it's easier for people to chip in $1 each and reach that financial request?

But hey, SportsCenter already started the campaign to reach that billion likes.
