What is Inside Out 2 about?
Inside Out 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Disney and Pixar's 2015 movie. It picks up a couple of years after the first movie as Riley reaches puberty. This change rattles her world as she heads to a weekend hockey camp.
Article Continues BelowAhead of going to camp, Riley learns that her best friends won't be attending the same high school as her. Riley is upset by this and she is left divided between sticking by her friends and impressing the older varsity kids.
Back in her mind, the OG emotions of Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Fear (Tony Hale), Anger (Lewis Black), and Disgust (Liza Lapira) are holding down the fort. Their routing is thrown off when Riley hits puberty and introduces new emotions: Anxiety (Maya Hawke), Envy (Ayo Edebiri), Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser), and Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos).
The new emotions try to take over Riley's head to help her fit in. This results in the OG squad going on an adventure to the back of Riley's mind to recover her sense of self.
