Most fans of J Cole know one thing about him: he can ball like crazy. The critically acclaimed rapper is widely-recognized as one of the artists who actually play good basketball. It's why he's been invited to the NBA Celebrity All-Star game multiple times now.

Now, J Cole is looking to take his basketball talents to Canada. After a brief stint in the Basketball Africa League, the rapper is moving north of the US, signing with the Scarborough Shooting Stars of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. J Cole is incredibly popular amongst NBA fans and players. The rapper's affinity for basketball shines through in his music, making him popular amongst hoopers. At the same time, he has worked out with several NBA players in the past, such as Cole Anthony and a couple of other Orlando Magic players.

Will we ever see J Cole suit up for an NBA team in the future? Unless it's a publicity stunt, probably not. Even in the Basketball Africa League, the rapper struggled to see the court there. Being a professional basketball player takes a lot of time and effort, time that Cole likely doesn't have due to his other pursuits.
