Yes, Jacksonville Jaguars fans, it's going to get better. With the New York Jets pulling off their second consecutive win, the Jags have secured the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

With another loss, the Jaguars head into Week 17 with only 1 win and the tiebreaker with the Jets to have the worst record.

This should come as a surprise to the NFL considering how bad the Jets have been this season. Despite their two meaningless wins, the Jets have easily been the worst team in football. The Jaguars, though, get the top pick.

They have little to no bright spots on offense aside from Mekhi Becton, and Quinnen Williams remains their only defensive cornerstone. Poor quarterback play, lack of offensive weapons, lack of defensive weapons, and below average coaching and management makes the Jets one of the biggest disasters the NFL has ever seen.

They can't even tank properly.

The Jaguars, who have the much more promising roster, will get the first overall pick, where they will most likely select Clemson quarterback, Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence has been the most talked about prospect in recent memory and has the potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL with the Jaguars.

Jacksonville may actually be a pretty good fit for him as well. A solid rushing attack with James Robinson and an explosive wide receiver duo in DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault shows real promise for this Jaguars offense with the right playmaker.

After the Jets' win, Jaguars fans must be jumping for joy. Despite how much everyone loves Gardner Minshew, he will most likely be backing up Trevor Lawrence next season.
