Jake Paul has been waiting to fight Tommy Fury for a long time. The two were supposed to go head-to-head in December of 2021 but Fury backed out due to injury. Paul ultimately fought a replacement for Fury and won. Paul and Fury then rescheduled their fight for August 6th at Madison Square Garden in New York. But Fury recently claimed he would be unable to attend because he can't get into the US.

But Jake Paul isn't buying it. The former Vine star turned boxer took to Twitter to vent his frustration.

Fury’s received a termination notice. MVP did everything it could 2 help him & team. He wasn’t interested & he literally went into hiding. 2nd time in a row he has pulled out. 2nd time in a row I’m going to step up & take on a new opponent on short notice. AUG 6. MSG.

The fight is still on. However, Tommy Fury's replacement is yet to be named.

Paul also took a shot at Fury with a secondary Tweet.

He gave Fury the nickname “Tommy Fumbles” after Fury originally announced he would not be able to enter the US. Paul said he will pay someone two-thousand dollars for retweeting the Tommy Fumbles hashtag Tweet. As a result, it is currently trending on Twitter with over 16 thousand retweets and counting.

It will be interesting to see who ends up as the replacement for the August 6th fight at Madison Square Garden. It will be even more intriguing to see if Jake Paul and Tommy Fury ever go head-to-head in a bout. For now, it seems unlikely.
