The Los Angeles Rams offseason continues to be a roller coaster. Just as things seemed to be wrapping up, the Rams signed legendary edge rusher Clay Matthews.
Steve Rebeiro and Johnny Gomez are back on Butting Heads to discuss all things Rams. First, Steve brings on WBKB11's Michael Beiermeister to talk about the move and how Clay has played in Green Bay recently. Later, Steve and Johnny discuss what Matthews brings to the team, his potential role, and his crazy cap number.
Last week, Steve said he'd like Blake Bortles to be on the team. He's here! The guys discuss the importance of a backup quarterback on a contending team, where Bortles ranks amongst the NFL's backup quarterbacks, and whether or not there's a chance he pushes for the starting job.
The Bortles conversation leads them to Jared Goff. Can the Rams pay him in the offseason? Will they? Should they? Steve and Johnny break down the entire Goff situation.
Finally, they react to the news that Malcolm Brown has signed an offer sheet with the Detroit Lions. They discuss whether or not the team will match, and if they don't, how the team should deal with filling the void left by Brown and the likely departing C.J. Anderson.
