Alex Caruso has established himself as a crowd favorite for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is now a full-time Laker and is thankful for one specific player for his on-court successes.

Spectrum SportsNet talked with Caruso about his current situation now that he's secured a two-year deal with the Purple and Gold. He heaped praise towards LeBron James for making his approach to the game a lot easier.

Besides the obvious praise for LeBron, he mentioned James' basketball genius.

“He just makes it so easy, he's a really heady guy. Understands the game. Good IQ, and I think me and him kinda tag along in the same aspect of we both understand how to play and we read off each other pretty well.”

He steadily improved his production numbers in his two years with the Lakers. The youngster played less games over the past season, but made averaged points (9.2), rebounds (2.7), assists (3.1), and steals (1.0) compared to his first. Moreover, he shocks everyone whenever he rises up for the dunk.

He inked a two-year, $5.5-million deal with the Lakers, making him a viable rotation player for a team that has talented floor generals in James, Rajon Rondo, and Quinn Cook. The Staples Center fans will be hyped up to see him suit up for them once more.

Meanwhile, James continues to be one of the league's best players at 34. He hasn't missed an All-Star game since 2005 and is only improving his game as he advances in age.

Some may want to discredit him, but Caruso is the first to say that LeBron is one great teammate.
