The Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a huge win on Saturday as they took down the league-best Utah Jazz in overtime, 127-115. After the game, LA guard Dennis Schroder had a bit of a message for the rest of the NBA with regards to the Lakers' status moving forward.

Schroder just had to remind everyone that the Lakers managed to beat the Jazz without their two superstars. The German national also sent out a warning shot to the rest of the league as to the impending return of LeBron James and Anthony Davis (h/t Spectrum SportsNet on Twitter):

Schroder was asked about being able to build chemistry with a new-look/shorthanded Lakers side, particularly with the arrival of former All-Star big man Andre Drummond. Schroder is adamant that once LeBron and Davis return, Drummond is going to be even more of a threat for the defending champs.

Schroder came up big for the Lakers on Saturday. He finished with 25 points, six rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and two blocks in 39 minutes of action. He also scored on a game-tying layup to send the game to OT:

Drummond was pretty impressive in this one too, notching a team-high 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting, to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block.

The Jazz were missing some of their key guys on Saturday, with Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Mike Conley all sitting out due to respective injuries. Nevertheless, a win is still a win for the Lakers as they look to improve on their current standing in the West.
