Kyle Kuzma has now made it Instagram official. For the first time since the Los Angeles Lakers traded him away, Kuz flexed his new set of Washington Wizards colors on his social media account.

The former Lakers forward even hit up his newest All-Star teammate Bradley Beal for good measure. Kuz kept it simple with a 4-word caption and an attempt to coin a new nickname.

“Beal what's the deal #capitalboyz”

Kuz appears to be in good spirits following his departure from Los Angeles. Joining the Wizards offers him a fresh start after a couple of tumultuous seasons alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Although he did win a ring, his performance left a lot to be desired after many expected him to emerge as the Lakers' third star.

Kyle Kuzma's production understandably dropped upon the arrival of Anthony Davis, whose positional fit overlaps with his own. But Wizards fans might need a reminder that Kuz actually averaged 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds on an efficient 46% from the field during his second season with the Lakers and LeBron James already on the roster at the time.

Perhaps the change of scenery can reignite that same potential he flashed just a few seasons ago.
