The Los Angeles Lakers were looking to get back on track Sunday night as they hosted the Orlando Magic.

During the 2nd half as a loose ball hit the floor, Lakers center Dwight Howard grabbed it and flung it in bounds as he flew out of bounds. The ball hit Magic forward Wendell Carter Jr. in the face, breaking his goggles. The goggles broke into pieces with the lenses landing by LeBron James' feet.

James then got a little curious and decided that he might try them on. So he did.

The glasses might have helped his vision momentarily, but he was locked in all night. James led the Lakers to a commanding 106-94 win over the Orlando Magic. It was the second straight win for Los Angeles as they look to turn their season around.

LeBron James once again posted a triple double. He finished with a game high 30 points, to go along with 11 rebounds, 10 assists and three blocks. He was very efficient as well, shooting 12 for 20 from the floor.

Russell Westbrook and Talon Horton-Tucker also chipped in with 19 points each as the Lakers improved to 15-13 on the season.

In the loss, Wendell Carter Jr. shot well, with or without his glasses, going 6 for 12 from the field for 16 points.

Los Angeles once again played without All-Star forward Anthony Davis. Davis sat out with knee soreness. He banged up his knee in a loss Thursday night to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Lakers will look to extend their winning streak to three games as they head on a brief 3-game road trip. First up is a game in Dallas, Wednesday night.
