The Golden State Warriors won their fourth NBA title in the last eight seasons, beating the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals Thursday night. While the Warriors are likely still celebrating that win, deservedly, the Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in a very different place.

Los Angeles did not even reach the postseason, despite entering the season as the favorite in Las Vegas to win the title. But that certainly does not stop LeBron James from preparing for next season. The day after the Warriors ended the NBA season, a video surfaced of James and former teammate Kevin Love practicing on the basketball court.

LeBron and Love are seen at Summit New York honing their craft. There is undeniably a lot of work for the Lakers to do if they want to contend next season. Russell Westbrook is more than likely going to opt in for his $47 million contract. That will eat up a sizable portion of the Lakers salary cap.

That is a big problem for the Lakers. Westbrook in his first year with Los Angeles dealt with a ton of controversy surrounding his poor play. People questioned whether or not he and LeBron make sense on the court at the same time.

Then there's the health of Anthony Davis, who once again missed half of the season with numerous injuries. That's always a question mark. As is the bench and the age of the team.

There are a lot of questions facing the Lakers this offseason. One thing that there is no debate about is the game shape LeBron James will be in for his 20th season.
