Not only is Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James one of the best players in the game today, but as most of us know, he also happens to be one heck of a teammate. The three-time NBA champ proved this once again when he recently hooked up fellow Laker Troy Daniels with a pretty fresh set of new kicks.

Those are some nice looking pairs right there, and we're certain Daniels appreciated the gesture from LeBron. Daniels hasn't exactly been one of the most significant players on the Lakers' rotation this term, but this is not something James takes into consideration. In his eyes, they're all his teammates, regardless of the role they play for the squad.

After signing with the Lakers in the summer, Daniels has been asked to fulfill a minor role in head coach Frank Vogel's rotation this season. Currently, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard is averaging just 4.7 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.1 3-pointers in 12.0 minutes off L.A.'s bench.

There has been a lot of talk regarding the Lakers' push to add more pieces before the Feburary trade deadline passes. At this point, it would not be surprising if Daniels ends up as a moving piece in any potential deal that front office might pursue.

Daniels is on a one-year minimum deal, so his expiring contract might also prove to be a relatively valuable asset for a team looking to gain more financial flexibility in the coming offseason.
