After a tough 136-94 loss to the Pacers on Tuesday night, Lakers superstar LeBron James was asked about social media. And per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, James had quite a bit to say:

“If it bothers you, then yes. If not, don't worry about it. For me, when I was younger, there was a lot of things said about me as far as the way I approached the game or the way I played the game or my championship level.

“Could I get to a championship level? Could I be a champion? Am I ever going to win at the highest level? That was a way to escape it. I stopped listening. I stopped watching it. I just focused on just me, and control what I can control.

“I can't say it is easy for everyone. That's not what I'm trying to say, but I can speak from my experience.”

These comments from James followed a game in which Pacers fans stole the show. When Lakers small forward Brandon Ingram stepped to the free-throw line in the first quarter, fans chanted “LeBron's gonna trade you.” And when center JaVale McGee was taking free throws later in the game, they went with “not worth trading.”

This loss to the Pacers – the worst of James' career – bumped the Lakers back down to .500, two games back of a playoff position. The team has been involved in many significant trade deadline rumors. They are still candidates for a potential blockbuster deal for Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis. But nothing has yet been completed.

The Lakers' team chemistry has also been a question as of late. According to reports from ESPN, veterans McGee and Beasley butted heads with coach Luke Walton last week after being criticized for selfish play and poor decision-making.

Michael Lee of The Athletic pointed out the curious positioning of James on the Lakers' bench during Tuesday night's game.

The Lakers seem to have work to do both on and off the court if they wish to make a late-season playoff push.
