Memphis Grizzlies No. 4 pick Jaren Jackson Jr. and Los Angeles Lakers second-round draft choice Svi Mykhailiuk made waves in the 2018 Summer League, with both of them making the All-Summer League second team. Both rookie standouts shared a light moment during Sunday's NBA Rookie Photo Shoot.

In the video, Jackson humorously admires Mykhailiuk by pointing out the latter's purple and gold jersey and mentioning the Lakers' newest superstar, LeBron James. Mykhailiuk was a sport about it as he just laughed off Jackson's banter.

Mykhailiuk, the 47th pick, exceeded expectations with his impressive string of games for the Lakeshow during Summer League. He had his most brilliant performance against Collin Sexton and the Cleveland Cavaliers when he erupted for 31 points, including six 3-pointers. The Lakers would go on to play for the trophy before eventually losing to the Portland Trail Blazers in the championship game.

On the other hand, the Grizzlies' prized rookie will be partnering with Marc Gasol to form a formidable frontcourt duo for the team next season. With Gasol manning the paint, Jackson will look to complement the All-Star big man with his excellent outside shooting and impressive abilities on the defensive end.

In his one year with Michigan State, the highly regarded big man averaged 10.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. But his calling card will be his versatility on both ends of the floor as he put up an excellent 39 percent from deep and three blocks per game.

Mykhailiuk, a guard out of Kansas, is coming off an outstanding season. He finished his senior year with averages of 14.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and a brilliant 44 percent from beyond the arc.
