Ahead of Thursday night’s marquee matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James addressed the comparisons between himself and quarterbacks in the NFL by doing a choreographed pregame routine with his teammates.

James has often been criticized for being too pass-first in his play style, but that’s what makes him such a dominant player – the ability to get his teammates involved and keep them interested all game. That “quarterbacking” is certainly coming to fruition in the 2019-20 season, as King James is tops in the league in assists per game at 10.6 as well as total assists at 297, heading into Thursday’s big game against the Bucks.

Both the Lakers and Bucks came into this titanic tussle with a record of 24-4, which was tops in their respective conferences.
