Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has not given fans much to be thankful for in the 2019 NFL season. Unfortunately, his struggles have now taken a turn for the worst in this NFC North showdown with the Detroit Lions.
The Bears offense had gotten off to a promising start on their first drive of the second half. However, it came to a screeching halt after Trubiskiy was picked off by cornerback Darius Slay in a pass intended for wide receiver Allen Robinson, via PFF:

Trubisky had already made an egregious error prior to halftime when he opted not to get a first down despite having room to work with and Chicago was ultimately forced to settle for a field goal. Chicago’s inability to capitalize on their opportunities could have a tremendous effect on the outcome of this game.
At this point, it is safe to say that Bears fans will settle for just a few competent plays from Trubsiky rather than one costly mistake after another.
