Major League Baseball had some bad headlines after the Colorado Rockies game against the Miami Marlins on Sunday was overshadowed by what seemed to be an unfortunate incident regarding one of the fans. It appeared that he dropped the n-bomb. On Monday, reports came that he was actually screaming “Dinger,” the name of the Rockies mascot.

Well, the situation regarding the use of the word dinger once again made circles across the sports and MLB world after an ESPN anchor accidentally dropped the n-bomb on Monday morning.

Yikes.

So, for the second time in as many days, it appears that the n-bomb slipped out, or at least in this instance it did. The MLB landscape has caught some heat because of it, and MLB reporter Bob Nightengale issued an apology on Monday after he was one of the reporters to mention Sunday's incident.

The ESPN anchor was commenting on the MLB game as Los Angeles Dodgers star Albert Pujols hit a home run and the word accidentally slipped out. It is strange to see this happen again and will be interesting to see the fallout from such events.

Perhaps another word should be used instead of dinger just to avoid any further situations like this one.
