The American League Central-leading Chicago White Sox will get a boost to their rotation on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays. After heading to the IL with shoulder fatigue on August 11th, left-hander Carlos Rodon will finally return to the mound.

White Sox manager Tony La Russa wasn't sure about Rodon's availability in Toronto, but he looked good in a bullpen session earlier this week and had no issues with the shoulder.
Rodon has been absolutely dealing this season for the Sox, going 9-5 with a 2.38 ERA in 109.2 innings pitched. He's racked up an impressive 160 strikeouts in the process while giving up just 29 free passes.
Last time out on August 7th, the White Sox southpaw tossed five innings of scoreless baseball against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Chi-Town has gone just 5-5 in their last 10 games and has lost three of their last four before beating the Jays 5-2 on Tuesday. They registered a total of 18 hits but struggled with runners in scoring position.
Hard-throwing righty Reynaldo Lopez filled in for Rodon while he was injured and did well, surrendering only three earned runs in as many starts. He will likely return to the White Sox bullpen with Rodon back in the fold.
Given Carlos Rodon spent just 2.5 weeks on the shelf, he shouldn't be on an innings limit in Thursday's outing.
