Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Seth Curry of the Portland Trailblazers placed a major bet prior to All-Star Saturday night's Mountain Dew Three-point Contest.

The brothers agreed on the terms that the loser of the shootout will have to pay for all the family's tickets any time they play each other for the rest of their careers.

Unfortunately, both competitors did not come out on top and this made Steph reconsider on making his brother pay up. According to Curry, it wasn't clear whether the winner should have won the entire thing for the bet to push through, per Mark Medina of The Mercury News.

“I don't know if there's a qualifier if the other person had to win the entire thing. We might have to talk about it. We'd have to get mediator in there and see what's going on.”

This bet would have been more interesting if both faced off against each other in the finals. Unfortunately, only Stephen advanced, as Seth bowed out in the first round.

Still, if Stephen wants to look at just the head-to-head stats, he did edge out his younger brother. The two-time NBA MVP looked poised to regain the crown as he top-scored the first round with 27 points. Seth Curry, on the other hand, had a sub-par showing and scored just 16 points as his night ended earlier than he would have desired.

Stephen Curry ran into Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Joe Harris in the final round. Harris, who is second in the league in three-point percentage, put on a shooting clinic throughout the competition. He scored 25 points in the opening round and upped it further to 26 in the deciding round to secure his first ever three-point crown.

Curry, who won the competition in 2015, faced the pressure of shooting last. He started out hot, knocking down his first nine shots, but flamed out in the third and fourth racks. He ultimately came up two points short, as he missed one crucial shot from his money ball rack, which would have tied Harris' 26.
