The biggest Los Angeles Clippers fan in the world, Clipper Darrell, was forced to wear Los Angeles Lakers gear to pay off a bet he lost after his favorite team got bounced early in the 2020 NBA playoffs.

The Clippers lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs at Walt Disney World in seven games. The Clips had a 3-1 lead in the series before choking yet again as a franchise.

Before the 2019-20 season started, Clipper Darrell and Clippers fans all over Los Angeles picked their team to win the NBA Finals after signing Kawhi Leonard and acquiring Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Clippers finished the regular season with the second-best record in the rugged Western Conference standings, so all signs pointed toward the Clips and Lakers meeting in the Western Conference Finals in Orlando, Florida.

However, LAC lost three straight games to the Nuggets after taking a 3-1 series lead and are now back home in Los Angeles watching the NBA playoffs on TV. It wasn't how Leonard and George thought their first year with the team was going to end, but the two All-Stars have no one to blame but themselves, as neither California native scored in the fourth quarter of Game 7 against the Nuggets.

The Lakers are up 2-0 on the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. It appears the Purple and Gold will win the 2020 NBA title barring another major upset happening at Walt Disney World.

Meanwhile, there could be big changes for the Clippers this offseason after the team failed to meet expectations.
