As it turns out, the dispute over the 2020 NBA All-Star Dunk Contest still isn't over. Orlando Magic high-flyer Aaron Gordon recently released a diss track aimed at Dunk Contest judge Dwyane Wade, to which the latter responded to in stride.

The two got into it again on an Instagram Live video, with Gordon not holding back on his message for the Miami Heat legend.

To be fair to Aaron Gordon, he did have the courage to tell Dwyane Wade straight up what he thought about Derrick Jones controversially winning the contest. Wade just laughed it off though and went into a technical explanation as to why he gave his former Heat teammate a higher score in the final deciding dunk.

Everyone hopes this finally end the discussion on what already feels like an age-old subject. Gordon already aired his qualms directly to Wade, and the latter was somewhat able to justify his decision to the a frustrated NBA star.

Regardless of the disagreement between the two, it is clear that there is a mutual respect that bonds them. This is especially true for Gordon, who himself recognizes all what Wade has done throughout his illustrious NBA career and his invaluable contributions to the sport.

It is a shame, however, that fans will never get to see Gordon compete in the NBA Dunk Contest ever again. He is, without a doubt, one of the best dunkers we have ever seen participate in the contest without actually winning it.
