The NBA recently released its All-NBA teams for the 2021-22 season on Tuesday. Young stars like Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, and Devin Booker have all solidified their statuses and made their marks as members of the elite list. However, aside from them, the NBA still has a ton of youthful talent that has yet to gain significant recognition.
Moreover, some of them still need a year or two to truly mature into legitimate stars in the league. Nonetheless, with how quickly young players have been developing nowadays, it wouldn't be surprising to see more new names get selected to All-NBA Teams moving forward.
With that said, let's take a look at the three young stars with the best chance to make the first All-NBA selections of their careers in 2022-23.

3 young stars with best chance to finally make All-NBA in 2022-23
3. LaMelo Ball
LaMelo Ball is only 20 years old, but he has already showcased how good he is on the professional stage. In fact, he has already earned a handful of recognitions in the early stages of his career, including the 2021 NBA Rookie of the Year Award, 2021 NBA All-Rookie First Team, and 2022 NBA All-Star.
In just his second year in the league, Ball averaged 20.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.6 assists in 75 games played. With him being the focal point of the Charlotte Hornets, it wouldn't be hard to think that he's already on his way toward being a legitimate superstar in the near future. The potential is certainly there, and Ball only needs to produce at a higher level and make a higher leap in his third campaign in order for him to finally make All-NBA.
2. Jaylen Brown

The Boston Celtics already have a great talent in Jayson Tatum as their main guy. Playing behind him is a terrific No. 2 option in Jaylen Brown. Despite not being given most of the spotlight on the team, the 25-year-old continues to produce at a high level for his squad on a regular basis.
In his sixth year in the league, Brown tallied 23.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 66 games played. The scoring was slightly down from his first All-Star campaign in 2020-21, but these are still great numbers. Certainly enough, playing alongside a bona fide talent in Tatum makes it harder for Brown to earn the recognition that he truly deserves as compared to the other players on this list.
However, if he manages to stand out, set himself apart, and produce better numbers next season, he will definitely increase his chances of making All-NBA in 2022-23.
Like Jaylen Brown, it seems Donovan Mitchell has been around for quite a while, but he's still considered one of the younger stars in the league at the age of 25. In fact, he has already garnered three All-Star selections through the first six years of his career, which is definitely not an easy feat to achieve. Despite that, he still hasn't made All-NBA.
For the 2021-22 season, Mitchell averaged 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 67 appearances. Looking back, his individual production has always been great ever since he entered the league in 2017. However, the Utah Jazz's string of playoff eliminations has always overshadowed the numbers that he consistently produces for the team as their top option on offense.
As of the moment, Mitchell's future with the Jazz is a bit murky, though there are some signs suggesting he will be back in Utah. No matter where he is playing, with the level of talent he has, it wouldn't be surprising to see him finally make All-NBA in 2022-23.
