LaMelo Ball just took the biggest step of his young basketball career after being selected third overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the recently concluded 2020 NBA Draft. The 19-year-old has wasted no time in celebrating his latest milestone, and this came in a form of a new Rolls Royce.
After being tabbed as the Hornets' next franchise piece, Ball celebrated Thanksgiving in style — aboard his brand new Rolls Royce Cullinan gifted to him just the previous week. (h/t Gerrald Adams of TalkBasket.net):

As it turns out, the Rolls was a gift to the youngest Ball brother, presumably from the family's patriarch, LaVar Ball. In case you were wondering, here's a breakdown of what the Cullinan is all about:

Needless to say, LaMelo is balling. Pun intended. Sorry about that, but we just couldn't resist.

Ball will now be riding to training camp in style, and based on what we've seen from him so far, he is worth all the hype. He has some big shoes to fill in Charlotte, though, with the team in dire need of a new face to the franchise. Terry Rozier came in last summer and signed a huge deal with the Hornets, but he hasn't really lived up to his massive contract just yet.
For his part, LaMelo certainly has the star power, and by the looks of it, he absolutely has the game to back it up as well. If all goes according to plan, Charlotte may have just landed their cornerstone superstar of the future in LaMelo Ball.
