In the video, Dennis Smith Jr. and Dwight Powell could be seen trying to stop a Rockets fastbreak by jumping to intercept a possible outlet pass on the left side. But Rockets center Clint Capela decided to pass it ahead to Eric Gordon on the right side of the court before sending the outlet pass to another teammate.
The hilarious sequence is another example of synchronized movements happening throughout the league this season.

The latest Twin Towers combo in the NBA took their moniker quite seriously in this sequence.
And perhaps the funniest example of the lot is the entire Phoenix Suns lineup on the floor who ran at the same time in their game versus the Portland Trail Blazers. Each player turned at the exact same time, too! It’s as if these guys were in a military with their platoon leader calling their attention.
The NBA is a unique professional sports leagues for a number of reasons. But running, jumping, and turning their heads simultaneously are athletic gestures that look more akin to gymnasts and synchronized swimmers than to basketball players.
