The 2016-17 season had its ups and downs for Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant. He started the season still fighting off detractors and ridicule for signing with the team that had just eliminated his from the Western Conference Finals, in hopes of winning a championship.

When the final buzzer of the season had sounded, he stood victorious with the Finals MVP trophy in hand, but it wasn't quite enough to escape the criticisms.

Durant then released a Youtube documentary of his journey through the season with unique footage outlining what it took to get to the champion stage of his career.

Not long after the All-Star forward was roasted at the ESPY awards for the same decision he made a year ago, which was later revealed to be an act staged to draw attention on social media, which it did.
