David West is known to be a tough player who often operates near the basket. While he may no longer be the same player that he was a few years ago, he still continues to play well, providing the Golden State Warriors with quality minutes off the bench.

The 36-year-old Xavier product got his chance to contribute to his team’s cause in Game 3 when he was fielded in by head coach Steve Kerr early in the second quarter. He did not disappoint as he quickly scored a basket despite getting fouled. He called the foul as soon as he released the ball and was even heard shouting some expletive directed at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
