Draymond Green and Kevin Durant have become friends, even through plenty of on-court trash talk over the years.

Although Green can't recall exactly when the two clicked, he has become very fond of his new Warrior teammate in Durant.

Green spoke with  Bleacher Report's Chris Palmer about their relationship.

I can't tell you exactly when we became friends, but when it's real and genuine, you can't pinpoint it.

The two spent plenty of time together this summer while representing the US in Rio. They were able to discuss goals, and get more familiar with one another.

The more time you spend with somebody, the more your relationship grows. I think we were together for 37 days this summer. I just realized, man, I like that dude because he's a lot like me.

That doesn't exactly scream accurate as the two players' personalities couldn't be further opposite from each other, but they share a competitive drive enhanced by the desire to win.

Draymond Green has been one of Kevin Durant's most vocal defenders amid detractors, and the most active when it comes to helping him adjust to his new environment on and off the court.

In 10 years, when people ask these guys who's the best teammate they ever had, I want the answer to be Draymond Green.
