Draymond Green is currently troubled by off-court issues as a lawsuit will be filed against him by an unnamed man and woman for alleged assault and battery.
Part of the statement released by their lawyer, Lisa Bloom, states that the the victims will be speaking in court for the first time about their claims, which has “severely impacted their lives.”
“The man and woman bringing the case will speak for the first time about their claims of physical assault, bullying and misleading statements made by Mr. Green that they claim have severely impacted their lives.”

If proven guilty, the Golden State Warriors star forward could possible face jail time and a hefty fine for his actions. However, a plea deal could also be made to reduce the charges, where Green would just pay the fine and whatever the presiding judge suggests as an alternative measure.
This is not the first time he has been charged with battery and assault. In July of 2016, Green was arrested in East Lansing, Michigan for an incident he was involved in with Michigan State defensive back Jermaine Edmondson. The college football player was apparently choked and punched inside a bar. The confrontation stemmed from a previous run-in the two had the night before, where the 6-foot-9 power forward's associates checked out Edmondson's girlfriend, while being intoxicated, with .10 alcohol level.
