Despite coming off a huge victory in Game 2 over the Cavaliers, Draymond Green still got irritated quickly after a reporter asked him a question during the postgame press conference.

The reporter wanted to find out how the 26-year-old Michigan State product has been able to restrain himself from emotions when he’s playing, unlike in the past where he’s often called for technical fouls.

Kevin Durant then chimed in on the conversation by saying “You waiting on him to go over the line,” before the reporter clarified himself and said he only wants to know why he’s playing calmly now compared to previous seasons.

“You act like I'm just this troubled guy who's been in a bunch of trouble and I can't control myself. Jesus Christ.”

“I just been playing basketball, brother. When you got great teammates like I do, who allow me to play with my emotions and allow me to be emotional when I'm talking to them, and use my emotions to better them, it's easy.”

After his suspension in Game 5 of last year's finals, Green has played with a lot more control and has received less technical fouls. He is also noticeably moving away from the referees, especially on calls he doesn't agree on.

With his new mindset, it could pay dividends for the Warriors, who are only two games away from winning their second title in three years. Green understands his role with the team and knows that his presence could be the key to wrapping up the series, and eliminating the defending champions.
