Draymond Green was once again at the center of a lot of talk following the strong comments he made against the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ fans recently. It can be recalled that the Golden State Warriors All-Star forward took a shot at their intelligence for how they treated him in Game 4 on Friday night.
When asked recently if he feels sorry for what he said, Green made it known that he’s not remorseful and that he doesn't plan to take them back.
The 26-year-old Michigan State product explained that he only gave his thoughts about it and that there was lack of attention given by the fans to the technical foul he received, which they thought was his second of the game and would’ve meant an automatic ejection. He stood by his claim and even added that he may just be sharper than others.
“I didn’t bash them. I just gave my thoughts. You know, they booed me, and they thought I had a tech I didn’t have, so that wasn’t sharp. I knew I didn’t [have a tech], so maybe I’m just a little sharper than others then, huh? But they played ‘Hit the Road, Jack’ and I didn’t have to hit the road, so I didn’t think that was that sharp.”

The game was filled with a number of strange and bizarre calls made by the referees. Green, who is known to embrace the boos he receives on the road, proudly raised his hands and challenged the sold out Quicken Loans Arena crowd to intensify their heckling.
While he may not be the most popular player in Northeast Ohio, he is well-loved in Oakland as Warriors fans benefit from his energy and toughness. Should his team clinch the series and win another championship, the hate on him by Cavs fans will grow even more. But one thing certain is that Draymond Green will not change his ways and he could care less what others think.
