Golden State Warriors‘ forward Draymond Green was excused from their team's game on Thursday night against the Brooklyn Nets. He asked for a personal leave to attend to his girlfriend, Jelissa Hardy, as she gave birth to their son.
The 26-year-old Michigan State product is now a proud father to a healthy baby boy who they named, Draymond Jamal Green Jr.
He then took to his Instagram account to post the photos of his child to let everyone know how overjoyed he is and what his family means to him.

Green recently talked about his deeper understanding of how strong women really are and how much appreciation he has for them.

Green is expected to re-join the Warriors on the second game of their back-to-back set on Friday night when they go up against the Detroit Pistons.
The Oakland faithful are hoping that he got enough rest and that he is inspired even more to give his best in all of their games especially after the birth of his son.
