Despite having the most controversial play in the 2016 NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green insisted he hasn't been haunted by his suspension last year, after a low blow to LeBron James‘ groin area warranted his absence from Game 5 of the series.

“I don't really carry it with me,” Green assured, according to Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports. “I'm a firm believer in ‘sh** happens.'”

The Warriors forward has been a lot more composed this postseason and will need to carry himself much better than the last NBA Finals, as emotions will run high in this rubber match.

Green has been the unlikely leader in three-point accuracy for the team, shooting a mind-blowing 47.2 percent from deep in the playoffs while posting two triple-doubles and maintaining averages of 13.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 2.1 blocks, and 1.9 steals per game.

The Michigan State product has been every bit of the Warriors' motor that he's been expected to be, but can at times run into trouble by complaining to the officials and letting his emotions get the best of him, which costed his team Game 5, and some argue the consequent two games, failing to have the same collective impact as the team did in the previous four games.
