Tuesday night's season opener did not go according to plan for the Golden State Warriors as they were blown out of their own building by the San Antonio Spurs, 129-100.
Looking to bounce back after the tough loss, Kevin Durant decided to shoot some extra shots after Thursday's practice in preparation for their next game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The 2014 MVP was noticeably yelling at himself with criticism thrown at him and trying to use them to draw motivation.

“Nobody in this arena right now, and that's when you get better. Nobody sees you when you're doing this stuff right here, but luckily y'all was in here watching.”
The 6-foot-9 forward also discussed that he does not go out of his way to find out what others think of him and just based it on questions thrown at him during interviews.
“It's not that I read it — it's just in the air. You know it's just in the atmosphere and people tell you and you hear about it. You guys ask me questions about it all the time, so obviously I know, but I'm not losing sleep on it. It's just wood on that fire.”
Durant ended the interview letting the media around him that he's not that worried about the opening day loss as it's going to be a long season. He had this to say with a big laugh:
“It's one game of 82 and you f—ing guys make me feel like the world's going to end.”
