Adding to the list of the Golden State Warriors post-championship antics, center JaVale McGee comically walked off the stage with Kevin Durant‘s NBA Finals Most Valuable Player trophy, per ESPN's J.A. Adande.

This was an actual physical MVP award, not a Shaqtin A Fool MVP award as most have known him to be throughout his nine-year career.

McGee did not play in Game 5, making it his first DNP-coach's decision of the entire postseason after logging limited minutes during the first four games, but finding himself at odds guarding a potent Cleveland Cavaliers pick-and-roll.

His role, while substantially limited, was key for the Warriors, whether it was on the floor catching lobs or getting swats at the rim, or in the locker room, being the jelling, fun-loving guy that players love to be around.

McGee finished the NBA Finals with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks during his four appearances in the series.
