Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant has won the scoring title four times, and has been voted as an All-Star seven times. But that doesn't mean the 2014 MVP knows everything about basketball.

Durant revealed to reporters that he was sure he knew the game of basketball in and out, until he joined the Warriors.

“There's a lot I need to learn about the game of basketball. I'm not as smart as I thought I was about the game. It's played a different way here then I was used to playing.”

The Warriors' ball movement is something Durant is not used to. He played mostly isolation and two-man basketball with Russell Westbrook during his time with the Thunder.

The Warriors led the NBA last season with 28.9 assists per game, by far and away more than any team in the league.

However, Durant was not pitting an indictment against his former team.

“It's not a knock on Oklahoma City. It's not a knock on my past teammates or that organization. … I mean it's different here. It's fun here. It's fun playing where I was before but that book is closed.”

Durant enjoyed plenty of success in Oklahoma City during his time there. The team was always a top contender every year, but fell short of a championship.

Despite saying the contrary, Kevin Durant almost sounds as if he didn't enjoy playing in OKC as much as we all believed.
