Despite still being ruled out for the team's next two games, Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant is aggressively pursuing his return to the hardwood, progressing through numerous drills and tests for the stability of his injured knee.

Durant showed some of his explosiveness off the dribble, taking off from his left foot and rising up to throw down a two-handed dunk before his team faced the Washington Wizards on Sunday.

While it is only a one-on-one scenario, the fact that he's able to get up using his left knee is a welcome sign as he'll look to go into contact drills through part of this week in hopes to get a few games under his belt before the start of the NBA playoffs.

Following a 24-point rout of the Wizards, the Warriors have now won 11 straight after a 2-5 stint after Durant's injury. The team has once again made its mark on the defensive end, a trait which Durant is likely to help accelerate all that much more with a career-high 1.6 blocks this season.
