Golden State Warriors stud Draymond Green kept his recent hot streak going in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. The 28-year-old stuffed the stat sheet yet again, and in the process, became only the third player in NBA history to notch three consecutive triple-doubles in the postseason.

Green accounted for 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Toronto Raptors, which allowed him to join the elite company of triple-double specialists in two-time NBA champion and Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain and Oklahoma City Thunder former MVP winner Russell Westbrook.

However, despite Green's heroics, the Raptors still came on top to take Game 1, 118-109. Stephen Curry (34 points, four three-pointers, five rebounds, five assists) and Klay Thompson (21 points, three three-pointers, five rebounds) also had it going for the defending champs, but they too were unable to help hold off a surging Toronto side.

Warriors big man DeMarcus Cousins made his much-anticipated comeback in this one after being sidelined by injury since the first round of the playoffs. However, the four-time All-Star struggled in his eight minutes of play, logging only three points, two rebounds, and a couple of steals.

It was Pascal Siakam who stole the show for the Raptors, scoring 32 big points in his Finals debut, along with two three-pointers, eight rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a couple of blocks.

Game 2 will be on Sunday, and Green and company will definitely be out for some revenge as they hope to even out the series before it heads to Oakland for Games 3 and 4.
