Two of the league's highest-scoring teams in the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings were engaged in a duel for the ages Saturday night. By canning 41 three-pointers combined, the Warriors and Kings have teamed up to take a piece of NBA history at Golden 1 Center.

Entering the matchup, Sacramento averaged 11.6 three-pointers made per game. On the other hand, Golden State drains an average of 12.1 long-distance shots every night.
The two teams, however, destroyed those numbers as the Warriors and Kings had 21 and 20 three-pointers, respectively. The game's final score was 127-123 in favor of the visiting team in the defending champions.

Kevin Durant had 29 points, five rebounds, nine assists, and two rejections. Furthermore, the Warriors' two other stars in Klay Thompson and Draymond Green played like their old selves again.
Buddy Hield had a monster night for the Kings with 32 points, five rebounds, four assists, and eight three-pointers. He received ample support from Bogdan Bogdanovic who tallied 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Willie Cauley-Stein muscled his way to 14 points and 13 rebounds. The surprise from the home team came from Justin Jackson who scored 28 points.
Fans who paid to see the game definitely got their money's worth and they can now go back to their homes thinking that they had just witnessed NBA history unfold before their eyes.
