Nick Young‘s arrival in the Golden State Warriors organization will be the second reclamation project in two years, but he's still far from a finished product after arriving to sign his contract and be introduced to the media.
When asked about his new team's ball-sharing system and passing to the open man, Swaggy P had one of his most classic lines early into the season.
“When I'm in, those (open shooters) guys won't be in. … that's the point guard's job … if he's open I guess I have to pass,” Young told the media, according to Marcus Thompson of the San Jose Mercury News.

The 6-foot-6 wing was signed to bolster the team's shooting and take the role of Ian Clark, who is unlikely to be back with the team, bound to fetch a much bigger payday than the Warriors can offer. There are no illusions of the self-proclaimed “Uncle P” to turn into a passing wizard after one season, but the culture tends to stick to a player one way or the other — so it's only a matter of time until he grasps that concept.
Meanwhile, this veteran group is likely to find the three-point weapon open for as many early celebration trifectas as he can muster during his stint on the court.
