Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green told reporters after morning practice that he feels “pretty confident” he will play tonight against the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
The 6-foot-7 Swiss Army knife missed Saturday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after rolling his ankle badly on the third quarter of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Green said he's grown wiser and learned how to deal with injuries, knowing when to let go and rest instead of pushing through an injury just for the urge of playing.
“Pushing through it in Game 15 is a little on the extra side,” said Green. “But it's not easy. It's boring sitting.”
The All-Star forward will be a game-time decision and said it would depend on how he feels during warmups.
Point guard Ian Clark is listed as questionable with a neck injury stemming from Friday's collision.

The Warriors have also recalled rookie center Damian Jones from the D-League after two short games with affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors. The 7-footer has shown some promise and his size can be a welcome addition to a fairly small Warriors roster.
His offensive game is a work-in progress, but he was an established rim protector in college, skills which the team hopes translates into the NBA when it comes time for his debut.

The Warriors will take an NBA-best 11-game win streak into tonight's game against the Hawks. They will play the next four games at home, including a Thursday night TNT showdown against the Houston Rockets.
