In the NBA, it has become a common practice for other players around the league who don't play in the NBA Finals to skip out on watching it entirely.

Much of that stems from their own competitive nature of not wanting to see another team win the championship.  In light of that, Russell Westbrook let the public know what he decided to do on Thursday night instead of watching Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Westbrook chose to post a couple of videos via his Snapchat account displaying him singing along to “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.” The first thing that becomes noticeable is his decision to sing a song in the movie that went along the lines of, “if you want to go somewhere, you better wake up and pay attention.”

Many may take that as him firing an indirect shot at his former teammate Kevin Durant, who led the Golden State Warriors to a convincing 113-91 win in Game 1 over the Cleveland Cavaliers behind a 38-point performance. However, it should be noted that Westbrook also posted other videos showing him singing various songs from the movie that don't reference that notion.

Ultimately, it's quite evident that Westbrook has no interest in watching the 2017 NBA Finals play out over the next couple of weeks.
