The post-game locker room war zone between Warriors talents Draymond Green and Kevin Durant could have set off some major consequences among teammates, as some believe the former might just have lost his authority by the way he aired his grievances after a disheartening 121-116 overtime loss to the L.A. Clippers on Monday.
According to Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic, Green's over-the-top confrontation with Durant might have costed him some credibility among some of the team's veterans.

One player was even concerned that Green may have lost his authority in the locker room, the berating was so over-the-top.”
Green has always been a fiery player and his confrontational style of leadership is symbolic of the way he plays the game, but calling out Durant for a personal decision that had nothing to do with the outcome of the game just looks like him reaching for ammunition too big for his guns.
In efforts to defend his poor decision to bring the ball up court and turn it over without getting a shot at the end of regulation, Green chose to dart veiled shots at the Warriors superstar for the way he handled free agency — something that came across as a cheap shot for guys who were willing to listen for a reasonable basketball argument to defend his late-game choice.
