It was another difficult shooting night for Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. On Monday, he finished the game 3-of-17. Then on Wednesday night against the Dallas Mavericks he shot 5-of-24 in a losing effort. Curry's shooting has declined some this season for his standards. It's not something he's super worried about, but you can see it bothering him some.
“Tonight they all felt good. Last game I felt like all of them had no chance from the jump. Tonight was different. Every one of them felt good. Only one of them goes in and even inside the arc, it was tough. So I just got to stick with the program and live out the line and don't lose confidence,” Warriors superstar Stephen Curry told ClutchPoints.
This season has been a strange year for Curry. His team is overachieving, yet his shooting percentage is at an all-time low. He's shooting 42 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from deep this season. The only year Curry shot worst was in the 2019-20 season when he only played five games.
Everyone expects this slump to end soon. Steve Kerr believes its some things they can do better as a team to help Curry get better looks. One thing that's going to be a huge help is the addition of Klay Thompson. He can be back as early as Sunday, and he's expected to lift a huge load off of Curry's back.

Wednesday the Mavs handed the Warriors their eighth loss of the season, and now their record stands at 29-8. This leaves them tied with the Phoenix Suns for the best record in the NBA. Thursday, they face the New Orleans Pelicans. But they might be without Curry due to a quad injury.
