Growing up in Charlotte certainly helped Stephen Curry become a lifelong Carolina Panthers fans. He has been seen in the past rocking their jersey and is not afraid to let everybody know about his allegiance to the team.
However on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors‘ point guard saw the Panthers lose to the Oakland Raiders, 35-32. Not only did he see his hometown team go down, he also lost a bet which forced him to wear the opponent's jersey after the game.
Never a doubt I'm riding with my @Panthers 4eva. #KeepPounding in my blood! But A bet is a bet! #RaiderNation y'all know how to do it right!

The Oakland Raiders' Twitter account gave the back-to-back NBA MVP a shout-out and gave their approval of him donning the Silver and Black.
Everything looks better in Silver and Black. https://t.co/iKnrc1YrqD

Curry was a good sport and stayed true to his end of the bet. Unfortunately for him, he'll have to wait until next year to get back at the person he had a bet with as Sunday's matchup is the only one for both teams this season.
