Despite making the biggest noise this summer, the Golden State Warriors still appeared to have a glaring hole in the middle.

The one area which LeBron James and Kyrie Irving abused in the recent NBA Finals was ignored by the defending Western Conference champions when the summer of signings began. In fact, it even worsened when they let go of shot blocking center Andrew Bogut.

But help is on the way. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Golden State has a new acquisition to shore up their frontline.

The athletic big man appeared in 34 games for the Dallas Mavericks last season, averaging 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds. Unfortunately for McGee, the recent years have seen him become more popular for his on-court miscues rather than his contributions.

But with a winning situation in Golden State, Javale McGee may very well see himself rise once again to significance. This will be McGee's 5th stop after playing in Washington, Denver, Philadelphia, and, most recently, Dallas.
