All 30 NBA teams are gearing up for what is expected to be a while 2018 NBA Draft, which is now just two days away. The Golden State Warriors, who hold the number 28 pick, are expected to select a player that will play a significant role off their bench this year.
With the Draft on Thursday night, the Warriors are holding one final workout, a guard-oriented workout, on Wednesday afternoon at their practice facility. According to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, Kentucky shooting guard Hamidou Diallo, Cincinnati shooting guard Jacob Evans, NC State shooting guard Allerik Freeman, Virginia's Devon Hall, Central Arkansas point guard Jordan Howard, and Duke shooting guard Gary Trent Jr are the players working out.

The guard-oriented matchup will allow the Warriors to try out a group of guards and put them through a series of rigorous workouts and shooting drills to see who can respond the best in different situations.
Earlier this month, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said he expects whichever player is drafted at the 28th pick to play be played off the Warriors bench this year and not just play garbage time.
“I think it's a big deal and having talked to our scouts…they like the pick. I trust them, they have been amazing the last few years pick guys who contribute late in the first or even mid second. They think we are going to get an impact player, and I have a feeling I will play that guy, give him a chance next year given the state of our team.”
The NBA Draft will take place on Thursday night at 7PM EST on ESPN, and Warriors forward Draymond Green will be in the room with the front office helping them make the pick.
