Andre Iguodala, despite being the least-heralded member of the Golden State Warriors’ top-tier roster, is perhaps the most important in terms of leadership and gutsiness.
Iguodala memorably won Finals MVP in 2015 when he came in and played great defense on LeBron James while also scoring opportunistically on the other end. Fast-forward five years and Iggy is still playing huge minutes and hitting critical 3-pointers to lift his Warriors to the heights they’ve come to expect.
The 35-year-old forward undoubtedly brings a much-needed veteran presence in the Warriors, and his level-headedness has helped the Dubs multiple times.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Iguodala often brings the seriousness back during games, especially when his teammates are getting too caught up with enjoying themselves. In fact, he has a special line that he uses along with assistant coach Ron Adams to keep the team focused.

The Warriors may be known for the joyful brand of basketball they have so often played under Kerr, but Iguodala and Adams, 71, share a favorite saying when it’s time to get serious: Forget fun.
The word they use in place of “forget,” mind you, is an expletive that starts with the same letter.
It's certainly something fans would expect from Iggy. Besides, Iguodala himself admitted that he has less fun than his teammates, thanks to being a perfectionist.
“I’m a perfectionist but not within myself — within the team. I’m never satisfied. We could win eight games straight and we’re watching film and I’ll say, ‘We still ain’t got it yet.'”
