Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors is no stranger to being ostracized. He knows that not everyone is in love with his brash style of play and outspoken personality, and he's okay with that.
But the Warriors star does have a problem with how the media portrays him and his peers. In a recent interview with The Ringer's Logan Murdock, Green was vocal on what he's learned as he dips his toe into being an NBA analyst.

Draymond Green wants to change what's actually being covered in these NBA-centered programs drawing millions of eyeballs. Instead of focusing on the latest drama that the NBA soap opera has to offer, the Warriors star wants the discussion to stay on basketball, and nothing but.
“All these shows that you turn on, they’re about basketball, but they’re not really about basketball,” he says. “It bothers me when I can’t turn on a TV show and learn about the game of basketball. The only thing I can learn is that Ben Simmons don’t want to play for the 76ers.”
Given the realities of what draws clicks and generates page views, Draymond Green certainly faces an uphill battle in trying to alter media coverage. But the Warriors star is no stranger to overcoming a challenge as a heavy underdog.
