The Golden State Warriors have won four games in a row and All-Star power forward Draymond Green knows why.

Green gave credit to the Warriors' defense for setting the tone following their 105-96 home win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday:

“I think we're really flying around,” Green said, via ESPN. “We're doing a great job of sticking to the game plan. One thing about defense is you're always going to give up something, so then it becomes, what is it that you're willing to give up? And I think the things that we've been willing to give up, we've been giving those up, and it's been working out for us.”

The Warriors are now 9-24 on the season. They still have the worst record in the Western Conference, but things are looking better.

The Warriors have the best defensive rating in the league since December 19th with 97.6 points allowed per 100 possessions. Draymond Green, the leader of the Warriors, is averaging 9.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 23 games this season while shooting 41.1 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc and 73.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Barring a miracle, the Warriors will still likely miss the playoffs this season for the first time in the Steve Kerr era. However, it's good to see the players on the team having fun again and winning.

Golden State will look to make it five wins in a row on Saturday when they host the Dallas Mavericks.
